On Saturday FSU suffered one of the worst losses in program history. It was a 63-20 loss to Louisville, sending shockwaves through the college ranks.

It was the first time ever that FSU has given up 60 points in a game, and it's also the first time since 2011 that the Noles will not start a season 3-0.

FSU entered that game ranked number two in the AP Top 25. After the loss, they now sit at 13 in the latest rankings.

Now the Noles will have to regroup and make their way to Raymond James stadium for a match up with Willie Taggart and the USF Bulls at noon on Saturday.

Jimbo Fisher and his team are just trying to move on and pick themselves up after a tough defeat.

"No sense in that happening," said the FSU coach. "But it did (happen) and we, as players and coaches, have to own that. We say 'well that's not us,' well, that was us."

Now the Noles must make the transition from one dual-threat quarterback to another in USF's junior playmaker under center, Quinton Flowers. And while Flowers is no Heisman front-runner Lamar Jackson, and the Bulls may not be the Cardinals, FSU knows that this is a very different squad than the one they beat last September in Tallahassee.

"They are playing tremendous," said Fisher, "USF has only lost twice since we saw them (last season) and they are explosive, fast, and very physical."

Noles nation might still be in mourning, but senior defensive end DeMarcus Walker has this message for FSU Fans:

"I promise," began Walker. "I promise you, Nole Nation, that you are going to see a different team and a different team. God bless."
