The Tampa Bay area's top recruit (arguably) has found a college home.

Tampa Catholic WR Nate Craig-Myers signed with Auburn University Wednesday in a packed ceremony at the school.

The highly coveted receiver, ranked as the no. 2 WR in the nation by ESPN, had narrowed his choices to North Carolina and Auburn. He took Florida State off his list last week.

Craig-Myers' brother and former Pasco High teammate (before Nate's transfer to TC) Jayvaughn Myers made it a package deal later Wednesday afternoon, also signing with Auburn.

Florida State flips IMG Academy’s Shavar Manuel from Florida

In one of the morning's biggest coups, 4-star DT Shavar Manuel had a change of heart, switching his commitment from Florida to Florida State.

Manuel, who started his high school career at Blake High in Tampa, transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton to complete his prep career.

IMG's talented squad of D1 talent also included ATH Saivion Smith (LSU), DE Malik Barrow (Ohio State) and RB Tony Jones (Notre Dame) today.

Berkeley Prep TE signs

Berkeley Prep's four-star tight end Jacob Mathis made it official Wednesday morning, signing his letter of intent with Ole Miss.

The heavily recruited Mathis (offers from Michigan, Alabama and Florida among others), was one of the first major recruits in the Bay area to sign this morning.

USF lands talented DB from Lake Wales

Josh Dunn's on and off relationship with USF is back on.

Dunn, a three-star commit who decommitted from the Bulls in October, returned to the fold on signing day, inking with the Bulls.

Multiple Bay area signal callers signed letters of intent on Wednesday.

Plant QB Rex Culpepper signed with Syracuse, Sickles QB Chris Oladokun will stay local, signing with USF and Palmetto High QB Jack Allison made it official with Jack Allison.

Other QB signees included Braden River's Jacob Huesman (Appalachian State) and Clearwater's Garrison Bryant (New Mexico Military Institute).
