During the 2016 presidential election many claims concerning a potentially rigged system and voter fraud were hurled at the American people.

Candidates weren’t the only ones to do it either.  Online bloggers were responsible as well.

Several of them said, "Tens of thousands of fraudulent Clinton votes found in Ohio warehouse."

PolitiFact Florida saw the claim and put it to their Truth-O-Meter.  It received a PANTS ON FIRE rating.

Writer Josh Gillin said the story came out a week before the November 8th general election.  In the story, it was said the alleged fraudulent votes would be mixed with other ballots thus leading to more votes for Democrat Hillary Clinton.  However, the story wasn’t verified.  If that’s not enough, the picture used for the article was rather telling as well.

“Actually, the photo they used as proof of this came from a newspaper in England from last year,” Gillin said.  “So it was a repurposed photo that had nothing to do with what they were talking about.”

Gillin went on to say there were no sources used to back up the claim.  For those reasons, the claim was given a PANTS ON FIRE rating.
