Legoland Florida announces opening date for new resort

The new Legoland Beach Retreat currently under construction will open April 7, 2017, Legoland announced Wednesday.

• Features 83 beach-themed bungalows with Lego décor
• The resort is located a half mile from the Legoland Florida entrance

The village-style resort features 83 beach-themed bungalows offering 166 separate rooms.  Each room will have Lego décor inside and out.  The bungalows are grouped into 13 “coves” which include an outdoor play area.

Guests at the resort will also be able to enjoy a central swimming pool, play area, restaurant, pool bar, a retail shop stocked with Lego building sets and a Lego-inspired lighthouse.

Legoland says the new accomodations will give guests even more reasons to play and stay.

Legoland Beach Retreat is located a half-mile from the entrance to Legoland Florida.
