- Escape room venue offers four different storylines for patrons
- Goal is to get out of the room within 60 minutes
Make a Break Escape offers four different themed rooms where groups can work through puzzles and use their brains to escape.
“The rooms are very hard,” Make a Break Escape Owner Tiffany Jessee-Wylie said. “So the rooms that we are running here are on a level of 7-8 and 10. The Helter Skelter for instance is a 38 percent success rate for the room."
The goal is to find the right clues to get out in 60 minutes.
"Some people get angry when they can’t get out,” Jessee-Wylie said. “We hear a lot of laughter in the back so it’s great for couples and friends, but this is a great thing for team building."
Jessee-Wylie is a bariatric surgeon who decided to open her own escape room after taking her staff to one.
"I think it’s something different,” Jessee-Wylie said. “How many times can you go to the movies or bowling? That gets old. I think people like to do something that’s challenging instead of just sitting around."
The escape room opened the first week of December.
