Four adults and one minor were arrested, accused of burglarizing vehicles in the Tampa area, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Antonio Robinson, 19, Emote Bentley, 19, Bernard Parker, 18, Christopher Brown, 18, and a 15-year-old. Per Bay News 9’s crime guidelines, we’re not naming the 15-year-old because of his age.

On July 19, just before 5 a.m., deputies spotted a Kia Sportage at the intersection of Causeway Boulevard and Providence Lakes Boulevard. The vehicle was believed to be involved in multiple incidents.

Patrol units followed the vehicle to the intersection of 50th Street South and Adamo Drive, where a traffic stop was conducted.

The five teens were found inside the vehicle. Deputies also found several stolen items, including two handguns, a shotgun and money.

Deputies say the five people are responsible for more than seven vehicle burglaries in the area.

All five face several charges including armed burglary of conveyance, grand theft firearm and grand theft in the third degree.
