Drier air moved into the atmosphere resulting in a lower coverage of thunderstorms. That will change going forward the rest of the week as moisture increases in our atmosphere.

There will be a few storms this evening inland east of I-75. Otherwise expect clearing skies overnight into early Tuesday morning.

Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s, but low 80s near the coast.

Tuesday will feature a little better coverage of storms in the afternoon. Instead of a 20 percent coverage, it will go up to 30 percent.

The storms that do form will drift southwest toward the coast late in the day. Otherwise expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low to mid 90s.

  • Monday drier air will continue to limit storm coverage
  • Highs Monday in upper 80s along coast, mid 90s inland

Starting Wednesday you can expect rain chances back up to at least 50 percent the rest of the week.
