Too busy for a full-on breakfast?

Smoothie King is cramming it all in a cup — your coffee and protein with a little sweetness — in a smoothie.

The Chef’s Kitchen went blenderiffic for this episode of the Chef’s Kitchen.

Smoothie King is offering four different kinds of coffee-smoothies: Almond Mocha, Raspberry Mocha, Vanilla and Cinnamon Latte.

They range from 370 to 430 calories per 20 ounce cup with 30 grams or more of protein.  

"It's a really great way to get 30 grams of protein in your diet so that way not only are you getting your coffee, you are getting your meal as well,” said Smoothie King Blendologist Kimberly Higgins. “And you can be fuller longer throughout the day."

The store uses New Orleans-style coffee.

“It's a nod to our hometown where Smoothie King was based and founded, New Orleans,” said Higgins.

Ingredients to blend

1 c. ice

1/4 c. Cold Brew Coffee

1/4 c. almond milk

1/8 c. water

1 scoop Chocolate Gladiator protein mix

1/8 c. almonds 

1/8 c. honey (optional, natural sweetener)

1/4 teaspoon cocoa (Smoothie King uses Ghirardelli)
