A pedestrian was hit and seriously injured Wednesday evening in Clearwater.
It happened at 5:58 p.m. at the intersection of Cleveland Street and Missouri Avenue.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital by ambulance with potential life-threatening injuries.
Drivers should avoid the intersection as the investigation is conducted, especially southbound lanes on Missouri.
