Clearwater Police have found Brian Spradling, who is wanted in Pinellas County, after he fled from officers Monday morning during a traffic stop.

Clearwater Police are searching for a wanted man who fled from police early Monday morning.

Officials said Brian Spradling, 20, was taken into custody shortly after 1 a.m. Monday during a traffic stop. 

Police discovered that Spradling was wanted on two felony violation of probation warrants - one for aggravated assault and firebombing - out of Pinellas County. 

After being handcuffed, Spradling faked some type of medical distress and fled from police, officials said. 

Police are now asking for the public's help in locating Spradling. 

According to the report, Spradling was wearing dark clothing at the time, and has a large tattoo on his left arm. And he was not wearing shoes, officials said. 

Spradling is 5'7, weighs 140 lbs, and has a wiry build. Officials said it is unknown whether or not he is still wearing the handcuffs. 

Spradling is known to frequent the Safety Harbor area, according to the report.
