The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a salon robbery on Monday.

The sheriff's office said J-Lo Beauty Salon was robbed shortly before 6 p.m. on January 16.
According to the report, three males and a female walked into the salon and started an argument with the clerk, Omar Adhami, 23.
Adhami attempted to call 911 when the female reached over the register and struck Adhami on the arm. The three males also began to hit Adhami, the report said, before they started to throw things at Adhami.
The men also destroyed items in the store, knocking over a large sunglass display, while the female went to another part of the store and stole some eyelashes.
The sheriff's office said Adhami was armed with a small pistol and shot at the suspects, causing them to flee the store.
No one was injured from the gunshots.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
