Here's your Tampa area forecast for late Wednesday evening on into Thursday and the weekend.

  • Morning fog
  • Few showers
  • Cooler weekend

Skies will go between partly cloudy and mostly clear overnight into early Thursday morning. There will be some areas of early morning fog around sunrise that will then burn off within a couple of hours.

Morning lows will be mild, mainly in the 60s, but some upper 50s in Citrus to Hernando county.

Thursday will feature more clouds in the area than the past couple of days. A front is on the way that will push those clouds through our area. However, don’t expect many showers, as most of them will fall apart as they enter our area.

Winds will be from the west, so that will keep temperatures from getting as warm. Highs will be in the 70s at the coast and mid 80s inland.

The front will move through in the evening with drier, cooler air moving in for Friday morning. The lows will drop into the 50s Thursday night to Friday morning.

The lows will drop into the 50s Thursday night to Friday morning. There will be some lingering clouds Friday morning, but then expect clearing skies with abundant sunshine.

Highs will be cooler, topping out in the low to mid 70s that afternoon with a breezy wind from the north.
