ARToberFEST

Free admission to this Saturday-Sunday event, sponsored by the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce. Offerings include art displays, kid crafts, German beer and food and live music. Located at Winter Springs Town Center, 142 Tuskawilla Road, Winter Springs.

American International Motorcyle Expo

The largest powersports trade, media and consumer show in North America is in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, now through Sunday. The event features the AMA Hall of Fame celebrities, a custom bike show, demo rides, dealer seminars, networking events, stunt shows and more. Hours vary. Tickets range from $10 to $20. The convention center is at 9400 Universal Blvd., Orlando.  

Biketoberfest

Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach is a fun-filled weekend that attracts more than 125,000 motorcycle enthusiasts from near and far. Activities include rides, concerts, food, bike shows and much more. It's going on now through Sunday.

Tampa

Jurassic Quest

This traveling, interactive exhibit taking over the Florida State Fairgrounds starting Friday will feature over 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that visitors can even ride, in some cases. $20 admission includes access to fossil digs, baby dinosaurs, a “Dino Bounce” area, plus face painting and inflatable mazes. It's at 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.

Florida Orchestra: Pops in the Park Concert

Enjoy food trucks and local music ensembles starting at 4 p.m., then lively symphonic music featuring everything from classical favorites to movie soundtracks. Be sure to pack a picnic and plan to stay the whole evening to enjoy the fireworks at the end of the night. Cost is free (food, drink not included). It's at 7 p.m. Saturday at Vinoy Park, 501 Fifth Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.

Clearwater Jazz Holiday

This downtown Clearwater tentpole event, now in its 37th year, promises a wide range of music and some serious headliners. UB40 is the featured act on Saturday night, while Grace Potter will take the stage Sunday. Festivities start at 2 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $16 per day, or chose a $52 four-day package; also a VIP package is available. It's at 301 Drew St., Clearwater.
