Two dozen Health First workers and volunteers gathered at Toys R Us on New Haven Boulevard with lists in hand, buying presents for more than 600 kids.
It was part of the fourth annual South Brevard Sharing Center's Children Without Christmas Toy Drive.
Those involved said it's special for these health care workers to do something for kids who otherwise would go without during the holidays.
"They are caring for people who are in crisis every day. To give our folks a chance to come out and buy gifts for a child is a blessing for the people who get to buy the gifts, too," Health First CEO Steve Johnson said.
The gifts were loaded up on the sharing center's truck for delivery before the big day.
