Get ready for even more scares at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando.

“The Exorcist” has been officially announced as the newest house to be added to the Halloween event.

  • "The Exorcist" coming to Universal for the first time ever
  • The maze will recreate iconic scenes from the horror film
  • Halloween Horror Nights 26 runs Sept. 16 - Oct. 31, on select nights

Guests will see, hear, feel—and even smell—levitating, head-spinning, vomit-wrenching moment from the iconic film, according to Universal’s press release.

“The Exorcist” maze will recreate some of the film’s most haunting scenes and guests will get to live the nightmare experienced by Regan MacNeil.

Mike Aiello, Director of Entertainment at Universal Orlando, described some of the challenges his team faced when creating the house.

"The famous "pea soup" scene for instance. What if we were surrounded in the materials of the retch-covered bed?" Aiello said.  "What if those layers of mattress padding literally enveloped us? And let's be honest, traversing through a vomit covered bed is pretty horrifying and disgusting by itself. Now add a possessed girl into the mix!"

Halloween Horror Nights 26 will run select nights from Sept. 16 to Oct. 31.
