Guests endured wait times as long as five hours on the opening day Tuesday of the new Frozen Ever After attraction at Epcot.

Some were being given water and ice cream as they waited in the nearly 90 degree heat.
Frozen Ever After replaced the Maelstrom boat ride in the Norway pavilion and takes guests on a boat tour themed after the movie "Frozen." According to Disney, the original cast from the film returned to record the music for the ride. A few elements from Maelstrom were preserved on the new attraction.
Royal Sommerhus, adjacent to Frozen Ever After, also opened Tuesday. It's a meet-and-greet with Frozen characters Anna and Elsa at their summer home.
