Orlando area

OrlandoUnido Vigilia

The Hispanic community is hosting a Spanish-language vigil tonight to honor the victims, survivors and families of the Pulse shooting. When: 6-8 p.m. Where: Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. Also available live on Infomas, Bright House Channel 1900, hosted by News 13 anchor Ybeth Bruzual.

Caribbean American Heritage Festival

Sample Caribbean food and beer and dance to steel drums and island rhythms at this celebration of Caribbean culture. When: noon-8 p.m. Sunday. Where: Orlando Fashion Square mall. More information: 407-810-6435.

'The Sky is the Limit' at OIA

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a musical tribute to Independence Day in the atrium of Orlando International Airport, featuring patriotic classics and other contemporary songs. Cost: Free, and attendees will get 3 hours of free airport garage parking. When: 8 p.m. Saturday.

Sea Turtle Walk

During June and July, the Sea Turtle Conservancy gives guided night walks to see a nesting sea turtle in Melbourne Beach. Walks are Monday-Friday, and space is limited to 22 people per night. Cost: $15 per person in advance. Where: Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge.

Tampa Bay area

St. Pete Pride

Although St. Pete Pride events have been running since last Friday’s “Pride Night with the Rays,” this Friday and Saturday are the signature events. On Friday night, the SP2 Concert, headlined by Deborah Cox and featuring a mix of various bands and local singers, will raise funds to assist in funding a number of Tampa Bay community organizations. Where and when: 7 p.m. at 26th Street and Central Avenue. Cost: Free. On Saturday, parade festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with a block party in the Grand Central District. Access to “The Glamstands” to the right of the parade route starts at 7 p.m., and the main event, the LGBT Pride Parade, begins at sunset.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay extended summer hours

Starting Friday, Busch Gardens begins its annual “Summer Nights” extended schedule, when the park stays open until midnight Fridays and Saturdays so guests can enjoy rides and shows after dark. In addition, Adventure Island starts up its “Island Nights” theme this week.

Tampa Bay Summer RV Show

The show brings new and used travel trailers, motor homes, tent campers and conversion vans, along with lots of booths featuring parts and accessories, insurance, RV repair and financing. Cost: $4 for adults, 15 and younger free, plus $6-$12 for parking. When: Through Sunday. Where: Florida State Fairgrounds.
