The Main Street Electrical Parade will soon end its run at Walt Disney World this fall, according to the Disney Parks Blog.
- Main Street Electrical Parade to end on Oct. 9
- Parade will head to Disneyland for limited time
- No word on what will replace the parade
Visitors will have until Oct. 9 to see the glowing, spinning floats one last time.
After that, the parade will head to Disneyland Resort for a limited-time engagement.
The parade has been a favorite with visitors since it first debuted in 1977.
In its announcement Wednesday, Disney didn’t say what would replace the parade.
Many people took to Twitter to express their shock over the news.
I can't believe they're getting rid of the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disney this is upsetting.
