The fund is working to distribute millions of dollars to the survivors of the Pulse nightclub attack, along with the families of the 49 people who were killed.

The National Center for Victims of Crime said it did receive some competing claim forms for some of the deceased victims, along with claims lacking a distribution plan and/or consent forms. The fund says any issues must be resolved by Monday, Sept. 26, or the money will be placed in probate court.

During a town hall meeting in August, Ken Feinberg, the OneOrlando Fund administraotr, told families they must settle among themselves, or in probate court, who any funds would be distributed to. Feinberg said the fund did not wish to be involved in any conflict between surviving partners and family members.

The fund is currently in the process of audit reviews over the total funds raised. All money the OneOrlando Fund receives by Friday, Sept. 23, will be part of the distribution.

Once a final allocation system is adopted, direct deposits and checks will be distributed on a rolling basis beginning Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The fund said an independent audit on the fund will begin Saturday, Oct. 15.
