So much is happening at the theme parks right now, especially with the holidays around the corner.

Here’s a roundup of the top theme park stories from the past week, in case you missed them:

Toothsome Chocolate Emporium gets opening date

The eatery will officially open at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk on Sept. 22.

Dinner service will start at 4 p.m. on that day and then, on the following day, Toothsome will begin regular hours.

The steampunk-inspired restaurant features full-service dining items like burgers and steaks, as well as, “out-of-this-world” desserts.

Toothsome Chocolate Emporium has been in previews since August.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary and Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween has finally arrived in Central Florida. Yes, technically, Halloween is in October, but don’t tell the theme parks that.

This month welcomes two big Halloween-themed events, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary at Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando.

Visitors to the Magic Kingdom will have a record 29 days to celebrate Halloween at the park. The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular returns this year, along with Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade.

Meanwhile at Universal Orlando, visitors are getting ready for several fright-filled nights.

Halloween Horror Nights 26 begins Sept. 16 and runs through Oct. 31 on select nights.

“The Walking Dead,” “The Exorcist,” and “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” are among this year’s houses.

Universal Orlando increases passholder prices

Yes, it’s true. It’ll now cost you more for a Universal Orlando annual pass.

The park raised prices this past week. It also introduced a new seasonal pass which costs $259.99 and includes blackout dates.

There are a few new perks for passholders: Universal is now giving some passholders early admission into the park.

Baby Boom at Discovery Cove

Five, yes five baby dolphins were born at SeaWorld Orlando's Discovery Cove in one month.

The bottlenose dolphins each weighed about 35 pounds.

They are named Kona, Titan, Nero, Star and Storm.

Discovery Cove says the baby dolphins will be monitored around the clock.
