Universal Orlando Resort is now hiring for positions at its upcoming water park, the company announced Tuesday.

Universal Orlando is looking to fill about 1,700 positions at Volcano Bay.
Full-time and part-time positions are available in a variety of areas, including security, lifeguards, custodial, ticket sales and food services.
The 30-acre water park will feature several unique attractions such as a multi-directional wave pool, multi-rider raft rides, body slides and more.
Multiple job fairs will be held in the coming weeks, Universal Orlando stated.
A special open call for lifeguards will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Universal’s HR office. More than 400 lifeguards will be hired for the new water park.
