Planet Hollywood Observatory at Disney Springs has delayed its reopening, again.

  • Planet Hollywood Observatory reopening delayed
  • Restaurant was originally scheduled to open last year
  • It will feature a redesigned exterior and interior and brand-new menu

The restaurant was accepting reservations for as early as Jan. 23, signaling plans to open next week.

Now, reservations are being accepted for as early as Friday, Jan. 27, according to the Planet Hollywood website. On the Walt Disney World website, reservations are available beginning Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Last week, News 13's On the Town reporter Allison Walker Torres went inside the restaurant for a special preview.

The redesigned restaurant will feature a brand-new menu from Chef Guy Fieri with items such as “Knuckle Sandwiches” and crunchy chicken tenders.

Planet Hollywood Observatory was originally scheduled to open last year, but was plagued by months of delays.

It closed early last year for the redesign, laying off 468 workers in the process.
