SpaceX is planning for a Falcon 9 rocket launch with a prime Saturday morning viewing slot.

The launch is set for right around 10 a.m. Saturday morning from Kennedy Space Center.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex says the launch will happen at 10:01 a.m.

SpaceX is sending cargo to the the International Space Station on board the dragon capsule. 

This will be the first launch at historic Launch Pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center since Space Shuttle Atlantis' final launch in 2011.

It's also the first Falcon 9 launch on the Space Coast since an explosion during a test back in September at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
