Days after Walt Disney World raised its ticket prices, Universal Orlando is doing the same.

Single-day, single-park tickets start at $110, up from $105. Single-day, park-to-park tickets now start at $165, an increase of $10.

Universal utilizes seasonal pricing, which means tickets can cost more depending on the time of year.

With the new price increase, an adult ticket, one-park ticket now costs $124 during peak season and $179 for a park-to-park ticket.

Universal has not released information about single-day admission to its new water theme park Volcano Bay. Right now, it is only offering a three-park , three-day ticket that grants admission to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay for $315.

On Sunday, Disney raised its ticket prices. One-day admission to the Magic Kingdom starts at $107. One-day admission to Disney’s other parks — Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom — starts at $99.

Both theme parks are gearing up for a big year. Universal is set to open Volcano Bay on May 25, as well as "Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon" in April. Disney is also set to open a new attraction in May, Pandora-The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
