Rivers of Light is officially set to debut tonight at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

In the past week, Disney has held several early performances for guests at the park.

Now, Disney is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the long-awaited show.

In a video posted on the Disney Parks Blog, costumer Amanda Meldrum details the process of bringing Rivers of Light’s colorful costumes to life.

“We’ve included about 81 different types of embroidery, over 180 different styles of fabric and about 250 different styles of bead,” Meldrum explains in the video. “A lot of our beads actually came from Tibet and India.”

Rivers of Light takes place on the Discovery River and features floating set pieces, water screens and shadow puppetry set to an original musical score.
